Special Services for flights from Dili to Singapore

Expectant Mothers

Expectant mothers in good health may be accepted for travel up to and including the 35th week of pregnancy, subject to following conditions :

  1. Normal Pregnancy
    1. Expectant mothers in good health up to the 35th week of pregnancy may be accepted for carriage without any medical certificate.
    2. Expectant mothers in their 35th week of pregnancy and beyond may be accepted for carriage subject to the submission of a certificate from the attending gynaecologist or doctor at time of booking.
  2. Known cases of multiple pregnancy (twins, triplets in the same pregnancy)
    1. Expectant mothers with multiple pregnancy up to the 32nd week of pregnancy may be accepted for carriage without any medical certificate.
    2. Expectant mothers with multiple pregnancy in their 32nd week of pregnancy and beyond may be accepted for carriage subject to the submission of a certificate from the attending gynaecologist or doctor at time of booking.
  3. Urgent or Compassionate Reasons
    For urgent or compassionate reasons expectant mothers may be accepted for carriage after the limiting dates, but only with the consent of the attending gynaecologist or doctor, and they are to be accompanied by a physician or other qualified person.
  4. Request for supplementary oxygen
    If a passenger makes a request for supplementary oxygen on board the flight, Austasia Airlines must be notified in advance.
  5. Consult your Doctor
    It is the passenger’s responsibility to consult her doctor before undertaking a flight. Medical guidance must be obtained before making a reservation and informing the doctor of the proposed itinerary. The number of weeks she is pregnant at the time the doctor signs the certificate of her fitness for air travel must be clearly stated in the certificate.
  6. Emergency Exit Row
    Expectant mothers can not be assigned or seated at Emergency Exit Row.

Infants

No seats will be allocated on the aircraft for infants aged 0 months – 24 months inclusive. Infants fares will be applicable. For infants aged under 2 years old occupying a seat, the child fare will be applicable.

Each infant must be accompanied by an adult passenger who is at least 18 years of age. Meals and bassinets for infants are available on request only. Please consult your travel planner as request for these special services must be submitted in advance.

Wheelchair Assistance

Passengers requiring a wheelchair may request assistance, including wheelchair transport where appropriate, during embarkation and disembarkation.

Wheelchair must be requested at least 48 hours prior to departure time. Due to limited infrastructure in Timor-Leste- Dili Airport, passengers  who are immobile (unable to climb up and down passenger step on their own) are recommended to consult with Austasia Airlines or your travel planner prior to departure for more details. Charges will be applicable where a wheelchair is required at SGD 50.00 / US$ 40.00 payable to Austasia Airlines at check in.

Passenger with Special Needs

 For those passengers requiring special assistance, for example, elderly passengers, Unaccompanied Minor (UM), Young Passengers (YP), you may wish to contact us for more details. Charges will be applicable where special assistant is required at SGD 45.00 / USD 35.00 payable to Austasia Airlines at check -in

Passenger Carrying Firearms

Passengers intending to carry firearms to and from Singapore should contact Austasia Airlines at least 10 days in advance prior to departure for documentation purposes. Charges of SGD 250.00 / US$ 200.00 including CAAS permit of firearms carriage are required and payable to Austasia Airlines at check-in.
